The Volitan lionfish is an exsquisite and interesting fish to observe.The Volitan is can be a pain to keep if not trained on frozen food but once it is trained on frozen food you will adore this fish forever.It is a hardy and easy fish to keep if weaned onto frozen food.The Volitan will spend most of its time perched on a rock waiting for its food to come by.Like the grouper it is not aggressive but will eat whatever it will fit in its mouth.The Volitan will not bother corals but will eat shrimp.The Volitan grows to 15 inches and requires a minimum 40 gallon aquarium.The Volitan is a carnivore and will eat allfrozen food once it is weaned on to it.

Fu Manchu Lionfish #4(moderate)
 
The Fu Manchu is a unique and a one of a kind fish.It doesn't look like your typical lionfish because of its size and the lack of venomous spines.It is the most difficult lionfish to keep because of it size and shyness.The Fu Manchu is not aggressive and will only eat fish that can fit in its mouth.The Fu Manchu is not very hardy and is not recommended to be kept by beginner aquarist.The Fu Manchu will grow to 4 inches and will require a minimum 25 gallon aquarium.It is best if the Fu Manchu is kept in a small aquarium either by itself or with other community fish.The Fu Manchu will not bother corals but will eat shrimp.The Fu Manchu is a carnivore and will eat most carnivore preparations.

The Zebra lionfish is a smaller version of the Volitan lionfish because it grows a quarter of its size.Another very interesting fish to keep in the home aquarium.It is not as hardy as the Volitan but san be trained to eat frozen food.the Zebra is not aggressive and will eat only fish that can fit in its mouth.The Zebra is reef safe but will eat invertebrates.The Zebra will grow to 6 inches and requires a minimum 25 gallon aquarium.Best kept in a smaller aquarium.The Zebra is a carnivore and will eat most carnivore peparations.
