Emperor Angel #3-4(moderate to intermediate species pending)

The Emperor angel is a stunning fish both as an adult and a young specimen. Although I have not had any success with the Emperor angel I know many people who have. The picture on the left is a juvenile specimen and the one on the right is an adult specimen. They can grow as large as 15 in. It is more hardy as a juvenile than an adult. If you get one eating at the store you are likely to have success. Some specimens can be kept in a reef aquariums and some can not it is a gamble that you may need to take. It can be kept in a 75 gallon aquarium with other semi-aggressive fish. It is an omnivore and will eat both herbivore and carnivore preperations. There food should be soaked in vitamins to keep there vibrant colors.

Queen Angel 3-4(moderate to intermediate)

Another spectacular colourful fish. The Queen Angel is considered by hobbyist the prettiest fish in the hobby. It has a contrast of yellow and blue on its body. The Queen angel grows to about 15 inches and will need a minimum of 75 gallons. This fish in general is not a good choice for the reef aquarium because it is likely it will pick at corals and eat invertebrates. This fish is aggressive towards other angel and new fish, thus better added at the end. The Queen is an omnivore and will eat both carnivore and herbivore. There food should be mixed with vitamins to keep there vibrant colors.

French Angel #4(moderate)

The French Angel is another easy and hardy choice for the beginner aquarist. The picture on the top is the juvenile which has a black base with extravagant yellow running through it. On the bottom is the adult specimen which has a greyish, blackish base with an asortment of different colors on its body. The French angel is another favourite of mine because of its hardiness and ongoing hunger. When the French angel is not eating you know there is a problem with it. The French angel is peacful with other fish but aggressive towards other angelfish. This fish is not a good choice for the reef aquarium because it will eat most corals and invertebrates. The French angel grows to 16 inches and will require a minimum of 75 gallon aquarium. The French angel is an omnivore and will eat both herbivore and carnivore preparations. Be sure to add vitamins to its food to keep its bold colors.
