Longhorn Cowfish #3(intermediate)

This is a very unique fish in its behaviour and its body shape. The cowfish is an easily kept fish if it is housed alone. If it is housed alone the rating would be a 4, but if housed with other fish it is difficult to keep.Do not house with fish that will pick on it because it may release a toxic gas that can kill the aquarium life. The cowfish is a very slow moving fish so make sure it is not housed with fast eating fish. The cowfish grows to about  15 inches and require a minimum of 75 gallon aquarium. It is not reef safe. this fish is a carnivore and will eat most carnivore preparations.

Polka Dot Boxfish #3(intermediate)

The polka dot boxfish is a beatifully colored fish. It is my favourite boxfish. The polka dot boxfish is a good reef fish other than the exception of tube worms. It is very hardy and easily maintained by itself but can become tricky if kept with other fish. They should be kept in a minimum 55 gallon aquarium The polka dot is unique from the other boxfish because of its shape, the other boxfish are more rectangular shaped where as this fish is shaped as a box. This fish is a carnivore and will eat all carnivore preparations.

Spotted Boxfish #3(intermediate)

Another breathtaking fish is the spotted boxfish. Like most boxfish they are easy to keep if kept alone but is tricky when kept with other fish. On the top is the male and on the left is the female. The male has a beautiful contrast of a rainbow with white dots on its body and on the bottom is the female which has a black coloration with white spots. They grow to 15 inches and can be kept in a minimum 55 gallon aquarium. They are quite hardy if kept alone or as a pair. They are reef safe other than the exception of tube worms. They are very peacful fish. The spotted boxfish are carnivores and will eat most carnivore preparations.
